Gift Baskets
Gift baskets, or fruit baskets are typically gifts sent to a friend, husband/wife or other special someone at their home or workplace. There are different varieties of gift baskets, some which have fruit only, some with dry/canned goods only (such as tea, crackers and jam), and some come with chocolate although the standard gift basket will have have a selection of all of them. Gourmet gift baskets are very similar to the standard gift basket, although it will include more unusual/high end fruit, and often will have good quality cheese and wine included.
Many gift baskets have a theme, such as Christmas, baby shower, housewarming, Valentine’s Day, graduation, congratulations etc. Gift baskets are also sent at sad times, such as a sympathy gift for funerals or wakes.
